We have a varied project portfolio involving mainly commercial/industrial developments to major local businesses throughout the North West. As architects, we have demonstrated full management of project designs with a wide variety of projects from education, ecclesiastical to commercial. The practice is able to fully secure DFC approval, PfS approval, sport council, Site approvals, feasibility report/studies, design statement, full architectural details/working drawings and grant applications in lottery schemes.

The practice provides a full range of building surveying services and can clearly demonstrate a practical approach with professional delivery of clients instructions.

Cowan & Co has considerable expertise relating to the care of historic buildings, particularly churches. A significant proportion of this work involves the surveying of stonework with a view to carrying out replacement or repair. We also have a wealth of experience in reordering, alteration and maintenance projects, working closely with English Heritage. The practice undertakes arrangement initiatives.
